Deanna Harding is a University of Washington graduate and the mom of two college students, attending both Indiana University and Northwestern University.
Having raised two children through demanding independent school environments, she understands both the opportunities and pressures students face long before college applications begin.
Her easy going rapport, love of connecting with and helping kids allows her to quickly recognize what makes each student unique and different. Deanna also has an understanding of what college admission officers are truly looking for, and helps students craft their story not only through their personal statement, but cohesively across every part of the application, highlighting their strengths and what they will bring to college campuses.
Her student-centered approach has proven highly effective, not only in where students are accepted, but in their confidence, self-awareness, and how proud they feel at the end of the process.
As part of her commitment to thoughtful, ethical advising, Deanna is currently completing the College Admissions Consulting Certificate Program through UC Berkeley.

I founded Blueprint after watching too many talented, high-achieving students struggle, not because they weren’t qualified, but because they started too late, underestimated the nuances of the process, or didn’t know how to tell their story effectively. What began as helping friends’ children evolved into a full-time consultancy built on advocacy, strategy, and care.

With more than 25 years in corporate America, I bring a project-management mindset and a deep understanding of how powerful storytelling drives decisions. In business and in admissions, success depends on clearly articulating purpose, value, and impact. Students aren’t just submitting applications, they’re sharing who they are. I work one-on-one with students to uncover their strengths and shape authentic narratives, resulting in thoughtful, well-crafted applications.
